Frigid temps are on the way!
Our winter season has been relatively mild so far, but overnight lows down to -17F are predicted for next week.
Take a moment to refresh yourself on managing livestock through cold snaps:
– Maintain access to quality forage and supplement feed if needed
– Keep animals clean and dry
– Provide barn access or a windbreak (especially for goats, and sheep that have been recently shorn)
