Have you ever heard of a food desert? Wonder how they transport food to the grocery store? The National 4-H STEM Challenge can answer that!
This year’s kit, Food for Thought, is a collection of three activities allowing kids to explore food security. Youth in Grades 5 – 7 and adults are welcome to a workshop to explore these STEM Challenge kits on Monday, September 30^th at 6:30 PM. There are 3 different activities in the kit and each of them take about an hour. Clubs can use these at club meetings during the year. If your club has youth or adults that want to attend, please email marie.witzel@wisc.edu to register. Sign up by September 24^th.
