Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference: Hands-on learning for spurring economic development

UW-Madison Extension’s second annual Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities (CEC) Conference will be held on June 16-18 in Wisconsin Rapids. This conference takes a unique approach and focuses on what works in small towns to build a strong entrepreneurial environment. It will feature a hands-on approach that focuses on the challenges and opportunities our small communities face.

Economic developers, local government leaders, and community champions will take home new ideas about digital commerce, agritourism, and public-private partnerships. There are sixteen different sessions including rural tech hubs, youth entrepreneurships, and how to direct a local recovery after an economic shock. Registration for the CEC conference is now open. Register by June 3 to participate. We look forward to seeing you in Wisconsin Rapids.
