Dodge County Junior Fair Market Sheep & Swine Identification and Feeder Beef weigh-in UPDATES!

2020 JUNIOR MARKET LIVESTOCK FOR THE DODGE COUNTY FAIR 

Youth Livestock Updates; MARCH 25, 2020

With the new “Safer-at-Home” order issued by Governor Evers, the Dodge County Meat Animal Sale (MAS) Committee is issuing the following changes to the animal identification and weigh-ins at this time.

  1. The Feeder Beef weigh-in is POSTPONED until May 16th, 11 am – 12:30 pm at the  Dodge County Fairgrounds (Subject to Change). If you have any questions regarding the feeder beef project, please direct them to Janet Arndt at 920-763-2135.
  2. The Animal Identification for Sheep and Swine (Tags, DNA, Google Form) is POSTPONED. Identification packets will be available starting Friday, May 1, 2020;  DNA and Google Form’s will be due to the extension office/ postmarked by the end of business on June 1, 2020 (Subject to Change). A letter explaining the necessary steps will be sent to all Sheep and Swine Families at the end of April.
  3. The optional sheep weigh-in is CANCELLED.

SWINE PROJECT 

2020 Junior Market Swine Identification for the Dodge County Fair will be begin Friday, May 1, 2020. Due June 1st.  Subject to change.
